Hallazgos

Identifica el divertículo hepático (yema del intestino anterior) que crece en el septum transversum.

Interpretación

El hígado surge del endodermo del intestino anterior; es el principal órgano hematopoyético fetal.

Perla clínica

El hígado fetal es la principal fuente de hematopoyesis entre el 2º y 7º mes. La vesícula y los conductos biliares derivan de la misma yema (atresia de vías biliares si falla).
