Hallazgos

Osteopenia localizada, reacción perióstica y áreas líticas; la RM muestra el edema medular precoz.

Interpretación

Osteomielitis: infección del hueso.

Perla clínica

La radiografía tarda 1-2 semanas en mostrar cambios; la RM (o la gammagrafía) es más precoz y sensible. Sospéchala en el pie diabético.
