Hallazgos

Focos de necrosis caseosa amarillenta-blanquecina, granulomas confluentes y, en fases avanzadas, cavernas de paredes fibrosas en los vértices.

Interpretación

Tuberculosis pulmonar: infección por M. tuberculosis con necrosis caseosa y formación de cavernas.

Perla clínica

Complejo de Ghon (foco parenquimatoso + ganglio) en la primoinfección. La reactivación es apical por la mayor tensión de oxígeno.
