Lesiones que protruyen a la luz, pediculadas o sésiles; los adenomatosos son los precursores del cáncer.

Interpretación

Pólipos colónicos: neoplásicos (adenomas: tubular, velloso) o no neoplásicos (hiperplásicos, inflamatorios).

Perla clínica

Mayor riesgo de malignización: tamaño grande, componente velloso y displasia de alto grado. La poliposis adenomatosa familiar tapiza el colon.
