Hallazgos

Masa gelatinosa, polipoide y pediculada, típicamente en la aurícula izquierda pegada al tabique (fosa oval).

Interpretación

Mixoma: el tumor cardíaco primario más frecuente del adulto; benigno pero con riesgo embólico.

Perla clínica

Suele nacer en la aurícula izquierda. Puede obstruir la mitral 'en bola de válvula' (síncope posicional) o embolizar. Da síntomas constitucionales.
