Hallazgos

Masa dura, blanquecina, mal delimitada, de aspecto estrellado 'en cangrejo', que se retrae y chirría al corte por la desmoplasia.

Interpretación

Carcinoma de mama: el aspecto macroscópico refleja la fibrosis (desmoplasia) que rodea el tumor invasor.

Perla clínica

El aspecto estrellado y la consistencia pétrea sugieren malignidad. Siempre determinar receptores hormonales (RE/RP) y HER2 para el tratamiento.
