Mucosa SIN vellosidades, con criptas rectas y paralelas ('en tubos de ensayo') ricas en células caliciformes.

Interpretación

Intestino grueso (colon): absorción de agua y formación de heces.

Perla clínica

Superficie plana + criptas rectas + abundantes goblet = colon. La distorsión/ramificación de las criptas sugiere enfermedad inflamatoria crónica.
