Hallazgos

Identifica el trofoblasto (capa externa, dará la placenta), el embrioblasto (masa celular interna, dará el embrión) y el blastocele.

Interpretación

El blastocisto es el estadio que se implanta (~día 6); su masa interna forma el embrión y el trofoblasto, los anexos.

Perla clínica

El trofoblasto secreta la hCG (base de la prueba de embarazo) que mantiene el cuerpo lúteo. La masa celular interna son las células madre embrionarias.
